Maud and Ivy, two names with special meaning coming together to represent our family business.
Maud is my childhood nickname and Ivy is my daughter’s name and also a whimsical plant I like to work with. The names felt like a beautiful choice for our boutique floristry business.
My son Nate also holds a special role with Maud and Ivy Flowers as he is in charge of quality control. He has a great eye for detail and oversees all our floral arrangements.

Our founder, Monique Rameau, was born on the Gold Coast in 1971. Her father who migrated from Holland was a creative man and one of the Gold Coast's leading sign writers and sign makers in the 1960s-1980s. He also loved to entertain people with his humorous sketches.
Until now, nobody in the family has followed in his creative footsteps. Monique recently decided to change direction in life due to injury and believes it has been a blessing to have now found her vocation. It gives Monique great pleasure to create and deliver beautiful floral work for any occasion. Contemplating how she can make each and every arrangement more personal is essential to our process. Maud and Ivy Flowers take pride in taking thoughtful to the next level.
Our logo “Leo” the lion was Monique's creation. Leo encompasses who we are and the impression we want to make. The image embraces our beginnings, our beautiful Ivy and our strength, passion and charisma. Our family floristry business is a work in progress as we are constantly improving every element that we present to the world. We want you to love our flowers, our service and our brand.
